One Step Closer for Vue53 Project
The Hyde Park development Vue53 appears to be one step closer to starting construction. DNAInfo Chicago is reporting that a Cook County judge has tossed out the lawsuit trying to prevent the project. Article continues here.

Per the Sun-Times it appears Near Southside residents may be warming to the idea of having the Northside university playing it's home games in their neighborhood. I'm usually all for development but should the city spend money on this project when there are other needs that are being neglected? Also does this take away business from the Chicago State and UIC's arenas? We'll see.

Ice Rink And Gymnastics Center Slated for 115th and Western - Morgan Park - DNAinfo.com Chicago
MORGAN PARK — An indoor ice rink and gymnastics center is slated for a long-vacant lot at 115th Street and Western Avenue in Morgan Park.
Officials on Saturday are scheduled to officially unveil plans for the $11 million dual-use building. A combination of state, city and Chicago Park District funds will pay for construction, according to a source familiar with the project. Story continues at DNAinfo.
